Our Commitment Towards Corporate Social Responsibility

At Vulcan Seals, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on society and the environment through our operations, products, services, and interactions with key stakeholders, including employees, communities, and suppliers. We support local, national, and global communities, as well as projects in underdeveloped regions, through charitable work and donations.

Vulcan Seals Bridge to the World Fund

In honour and memory of Gordon Bridge OBE, Vulcan Seals established the ‘Bridge to the World Fund.’ The ‘Bridge to the World Fund’ supports charitable organisations worldwide. The fund also supports our employees in their fundraising efforts by matching funds raised by them for registered charities, up to £1,000 per event.

Mary's Meals

Mary's Meals feeds more than 2.4 million children across 18 countries every day in their place of education – giving children the energy they need to learn and opening doors to a route out of poverty. Mary’s Meals is volunteer led, with a minimum of 93 pence in every one pound being utilised to feed hungry children. Parents and community workers volunteer to both make and serve the food on a daily basis and 70% of the food ingredients used are sourced from local farms, which in-turn supports local economies.

Open Arms Malawi

Open Arms Malawi believes that every child has a right to survival and development. Their principal aim is to provide care to Malawi’s vulnerable children so that they can survive their first years. As soon as children have recovered their health, Open Arms Malawi supports their return home so that the children can grow up to thrive within their home communities.

Work towards a better tomorrow

The drive to sustain our planet has never been more critical. At Vulcan Seals, we adopt lean principles to streamline our operations and production processes, minimising waste and our environmental impact. Additionally, we are working towards certification for ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) having achieved the ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) in 2024.
